The 48 Laws of Power is a bestselling book by Robert Greene that provides a guide to mastering the art of power and influence in any situation. The book is divided into 48 chapters, each of which covers a specific law of power and provides examples of how it has been used throughout history. The laws range from the basic principles of gaining power, such as appearing confident and creating a sense of urgency, to more advanced strategies for maintaining power, such as playing on people’s fears and manipulating their emotions.

20 Lessons from Book “48 Laws of Power”

1. Never outshine the master: Always make those above you feel comfortably superior.

2. Never put too much trust in friends, learn how to use enemies: Be wary of friendships, they will betray you more quickly, of course, for they are easily aroused to envy. They also become spoiled and tyrannical.

3. Conceal your intentions: Keep people off-balance and in the dark by never revealing the purpose behind your actions. If they have no clue what you are up to, they cannot prepare a defense.

4. Always say less than necessary: Speak as little as possible and avoid unnecessary detail. The more you say, the more likely you are to say something foolish.

5. Play a sucker to catch a sucker: Seem dumber than your mark. No one suspects the dumb. They will become arrogant and off guard, while you wait for the opportunity to strike.

6. Win through your actions, never through argument: Actions speak louder than words. Never waste time on words and arguments, they are a sign of weakness.

7. Never appear too perfect: Appear to be imperfect in some way. This will make it easier for others to identify with you, and they will be more willing to follow your lead.

8. Never go outside the expertise of your people: It is dangerous to appear too knowledgeable. It makes others insecure and they will begin to resent you.

9. Make other people come to you: Use bait if necessary. You want others to feel like they are coming to you of their own accord. When they do, they will feel like they have made a good decision and will be more likely to follow through.

10. Never be too predictable: Keep others off-balance by always doing something unexpected. This will make it difficult for them to prepare a defense against you.

11. Never let your enemies become too powerful: Keep your enemies in check by always having something on them. This will prevent them from becoming too powerful and will give you leverage over them.

12. Never appear too weak: Never let others know your weaknesses. They will take advantage of them and use them against you.

13. Never be too strong: Never be so powerful that others cannot approach you. This will make it difficult for you to find allies and will make others resent you.

14. Never allow yourself to become the main source of power: Never be the only one with access to a certain resource or information. This will make others dependent on you and will give you leverage over them.

15. Never be too quick to reveal yourself: Keep your true intentions hidden. The more people know about you, the more they can use against you.

16. Never be too slow to reveal yourself: Reveal yourself at the right time and in the right way. This will make it difficult for others to take advantage of you.

17. Never allow yourself to become too predictable: Keep others off-balance by always doing something unexpected. This will make it difficult for them to prepare a defense against you.

18. Never be too aggressive: Never be too aggressive. This will make others resent you and will make it difficult for you to find allies.

19. Never be too passive: Never be too
